Dr. Evan Pivetz grew up locally in Columbus Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University for dental school.
After dental school, Dr. Pivetz and his family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. Here Dr. Pivetz worked in a busy dental practice where he continuously worked to advance his surgical skills. Dr. Pivetz has traveled to learn from many of the top dental implant educators internationally, and has completed hundreds of hours in implant-specific Continuing Education.
After a few years in Colorado, Dr. Pivetz moved back home to Columbus. Here Dr. Pivetz worked for a corporate dental implant office, and held the role as a lead clinical mentor to over 30 doctors. Dr. Pivetz also is a mentor for the Colorado Surgical Institute, where he helps teach other doctors how to provide life-changing implant care.
Dr. Pivetz started New Smile Columbus to provide patients uncompromising and affordable care. He works to make sure his patients have access to the newest techniques and technology, to help them regain function and restore their smiles.
When not in the office, Dr. Pivetz spends time at home with his wife Taylor and dog Renly.
Matt has been involved in patient care and customer services for many years. The life-altering changes in his patients' experience is a huge part of why he loves working at New Smile Columbus. Guiding a patient through the journey of improving their health, appearance, and life is truly gratifying.
His purpose is to be an advocate and cheerleader for all his patients through the entire process- whether it is a single implant or fixed teeth. As their advocate, he listens and hears their concerns, problems, and issues. He truly empathizes with his patients-guiding them to the solution that will best serve their needs.
In addition, he enjoys supporting his team in their endeavor to help each and every patient to the fullest, doing whatever is needed to ensure his team is able to complete their jobs.
When not working, Matt enjoys home remodeling, yard work, and being with his partner Bo and two puppies, Bella and Sophie.
Chelsea is a dedicated and highly skilled dental assistant with over 4 years of experience in the dental field. Prior to her career in dentistry, she proudly served in the U.S. Army, where she developed strong discipline, attention to detail, and exceptional teamwork skills—qualities she brings to her role in patient care.
Known for her straightforward approach, Chelsea plays an integral role in ensuring a smooth and efficient dental practice. She is proficient in assisting with a wide range of dental procedures, from routine appointments to complex surgeries, always ensuring that patients are comfortable and well-informed throughout their visits. With a strong background in patient care, sterilization techniques, and chairside assisting, she is committed to creating a positive, welcoming environment for both patients and the dental team.
